When entering into a divorce, it is not uncommon for spouses on both sides to overlook some of the hurdles they may encounter. When it comes to property division, it is important to make sure that both parties have all their finances documented and prepared so that the courts can make fair decisions. Depending on the previous situation and current employment between the spouses, the courts may make a judgement regarding spousal support, commonly known as alimony, as well.
